Pricing
See what it's worth, free. The Residual Report — the evidence — is what you buy. Flat fees only: we never charge a percentage of a settlement or recovery. Pilot pricing, locked for 12 months for early customers.
Free
- A free lookup: no signup — the estimate, its calibrated range, and how many sales, over what window, it was measured on
- A free account: 5 estimates a month — enough to work a whole file in one sitting
- The Salvage Price Index + segment indices, with JSON
- Salvage value pages by make & model
- 17c DV calculator
- Weekly digest — free to cite with attribution
Pro pilot
- 100 vehicles a month, and re-run any of them as often as you like — web lookup tool and API, one account
- The comparable sales behind every number — each sale's date, its realized price and what makes it comparable to yours, plus the damage, odometer and title the auction recorded. Free tiers show you the number; this shows you what it's built on
- Retail value beside the salvage estimate, and the gap between them — we estimate retail from what vehicles sold for at national no-haggle online retailers. It needs a VIN and an odometer reading, and not every model matches our retail data
- Print-ready comp sheets for appraisal files
- Measured accuracy on a published protocol — and every response declares which input tier your query hit
- Cancel anytime; price locked 12 months
Volume & embed
- Broker-platform and product embeds
- Index data licensing & historical vintages
- Benchmark cuts for institutions

Pro raises your account to 100 vehicles a month, within a minute of checkout. Only the non-secret 12-character prefix of your key is attached to the payment — the key itself never leaves your browser.
Scheduled downtime: checkout is paused between weekly data runs — the payment would go through, but the upgrade wouldn't apply until the service is back.

Fair questions
What counts as a vehicle? One vehicle counts once in a calendar month, however many times you run it. We key on the VIN when you give us one, and on the year, make, model and trim you typed when you don't. Failed or rejected requests don't count.
What happens if I go over? We keep answering, and your account page tells you that you've passed your count and what the next plan costs. We never add an overage charge. Go over two months running and you'll need to move up.
How accurate is it? It depends on input completeness: queries that include listing context (pre-loss value, repair estimate, condition) measure materially lower error than identity-only queries. Every response tells you which tier your query hit, and every estimate carries the number of sales it was measured on. Full methodology: How we measure.
Why flat fees only? Percentage-of-recovery pricing is how regulated claim representation is priced; we sell information, not representation, and the pricing follows. An estimate is a market value estimate, not an appraisal.
